After an inspirational trip to Mexico, Worlds Away started out as an import company that revitalized the painted tole look. Soon we were employing a distinctive mix including mirrored pieces, statement lighting, occasional furniture, and unique accessories. Our collection now incorporates rich textiles, colored lacquer, lucite, and grass-cloth. A resurgence of the Hollywood Regency style, as well as Mid-Century modern design, inspired us to create more transitional pieces that could relate to today’s interiors and still hint at the past.
